Meribel, in the heart of the Three Valleys

Situated in the heart of the world's largest ski area, Meribel's reputation has been built on its extensive choice of pistes and breath-taking scenery. This charming alpine resort spans the mountainside, with its lift system stretching up to an altitude of 2952 metres.

The highly efficient Three Valley's lift system consists of over 200 ski lifts, connecting eight resorts. The vast choice of pistes will offer you something new every day. You are sure to find a suitable area, no matter what your ability. Gentle beginners ski slopes line the lower valleys and more challenging blue, red and black runs can be found at the higher altitudes with dramatic views of the surrounding mountains.

In the Three Valleys area you will find:

  • 600km of piste in the Three Valleys area and 7 black runs, 23 red runs, 34 blue runs, 9 green runs & 31.5km of cross country runs just in the Meribel Valley.
  • Over 1250 snow canons meaning you are guaranteed to get snow throughout the season
  • Two snowboarding parks with half pipes, quarter pipes and a variety of jumps
  • 85% of the ski area above 1800 metres
  • A great choice of mountain restaurants with spectacular views and delicious lunch menus, snacks and apres ski activities

What's new in Meribel & The Three Valleys for 2015/16?

With millions of euros spent each year we really do get great value from our Three Valleys ski and lift passes. This season you will be better connected with new WiFi hot spots across the Meribel ski area and entertained with new family friendly fun activities. Have a go racing on the parallel slalom built at the Altiport this year or get papped at the Olympic chairlift photo point!

The range of activities across Meribel gets better year after year. This season why not visit the Inuit Village to build igloos, have snowball fights and even meet a musher and his sled dogs. Take fun photos of your group in the giant picture frames scattered around the resort or head to Moon Park to learn and compete in freestyle!
