We understand that these are challenging times for everyone and in order to give you peace of mind when booking your chalet, we have adapted our booking terms to a more flexible approach. We hope that this will allow you to book with confidence. Please see our full booking terms in addition to our Coronavirus policy below.
Deposit and balance payments
For bookings from 10 March 2022 - we request a deposit of £2000.00 to secure the chalet for your chosen date. The balance payment is due 8 weeks prior to the arrival day. If your booking cannot proceed due to coronavirus related issues (please see below) 20% of the total holiday cost will be used as a credit note valid for 24 months against any future booking with Ski Cuisine. Should you choose to cancel your chalet for other reasons this deposit is non-refundable and our normal cancellation charges apply.
The holiday balance is due 8 weeks prior to the arrival day.
Cancellation of your holiday arrangements
It is really important, so much so that it is a condition of us accepting your booking, that you obtain travel insurance to cover you against the risk of cancellation or curtailment (cutting your holiday short) for any reason. See clause 12 of our booking conditions.
If prior to the start of your arrangements your booking cannot proceed due to any of the following reasons linked to the coronavirus pandemic you will be entitled to a refund of the payments you have made to us for your booking. The refund will be split as an 80% cash refund and a 20% credit note valid for 24 months on any future Ski Cuisine booking:
- the French authorities impose regional or national restrictions which result in the closure of the French border, closure of the ski resort or essential facilities or necessitate the closure of the accommodation
- all ski lifts in the resort are closed due to covid-19 restrictions imposed by the French authorities
- you are fully vaccinated ( or exempt from vaccination by French law) but would be required by the French authorities to quarantine / self-isolate in France on arrival for more than 24 hours
The above reasons must be in place at the time your booking is due to take place.
In no circumstances are we responsible for any other expenses including without limitation, the cost of flights or any other form of transport.
If you are unwilling to travel for any reason, or you are unable to travel due to medical reasons, normal cancellation charges apply to all bookings. See clauses 7 and 8 of our booking conditions.
