We would like to reassure our guests that we will be taking extra precautions to ensure you feel safe during your stay with Ski Cuisine. Below are a number of points we recommend that you pay attention to, as France will have different rules from your home country and we want you to be well prepared for your holiday.

Please check the updated travel information for travel between France & the UK.

Rules can change at any time, so ensure you check before you travel.

There are different rules for children 12 years and over travelling to France with fully vaccinated adults. If the child is not fully vaccinated they must present a negative PCR or antigen test on arrival in France, carried out less than 24 hours before travel. Self administered tests are not consider valid for travel.

If you are travelling through Geneva airport, please check the regulations for Switzerland.

If you are travelling to France from a different country, then please check with your relevant government website.

The French Ministere de L’Europe et de Affaires Etrangeres also publishes updated travel information on its website (in English). You are required to sign a sworn statement when entering France to declare you have no Covid symptoms or have not been in contact with anyone with Covid-19.

And finally, do not forget to check the rules for your return journey to the UK or home country and with your chosen travel provider or airline.

Ski Lifts

It has been announced that, when in a lift queue and on a cable car, face masks must be worn at all times (from the age of 11 years). On a chair lift, you must wear a mask until you have departed the lift station.

In Your Ski Cuisine Chalet

Our staff are required to wear masks when in the presence of guests and anti-bacterial gel is provided for guests and staff. Sanitising products will be used for chalet cleaning and our staff will take extra care to ensure high standards of hygiene are observed so that you have peace of mind.

Your Arrival / Departure

The chalet is available from 5pm on arrival day. On your departure day, the chalet must be vacated by 10am.

Due to enhanced cleaning requirements, the chalet must be empty on change-over day between 10am-5pm. Therefore, we are unable to offer an earlier check in, changing or bathroom facilities during this time.

We wish you a very enjoyable holiday in Meribel!
