What’s new in Meribel and Les Trois Vallée’s for winter 2025/26


Méribel, perfectly positioned at the heart of Les Trois Vallée’s, continues to evolve with major lift upgrades and improved connections across the entire ski domain. This new season brings several exciting developments across the Les Trois Vallée’s, designed to boost comfort, speed, and accessibility.

🚡 Côte Brune Gondola – Faster Access to Val Thorens 

  • Now a 10-seater gondola, replacing the old chairlift

  • Capacity increased to 2,600 people per hour

  • A Quicker, more comfortable link toward Les Menuires, Val Thorens and the Belleville Valley

🚠 Rhodos Telecabine – A Major Modernisation

  • Upgraded to 8-seater cabins

  • Enhanced comfort and energy efficiency

  • Ideal for beginners and families heading to the Altiport and Rond Point beginners areas

❄️ Roc de Fer, relaxation area

  • At the summit of Roc de Fer, a brand-new leisure area has been created. Entirely removable and beautifully designed, it offers a 360° panorama stretching from Mont Blanc to the glaciers of the Vanoise national park. 

  • With suspended seating, tables for picnics and hammocks, it’s the perfect spot to have a picnic, take in the stunning the views and enjoy the tranquillity.

🏔️ Chenus Gondola (Courchevel) – A New Era After 55 Years!!

  • Fully renewed for 2025-26 season with super comfy 10-seater cabins

  • Doubled the previous capacity

  • A smoother, more scenic route with views across the Courchevel valley

  • New picnic area and public restrooms at the summit ( include some images of interior)

⛷️ Les Menuires & Val Thorens – Improved Links Across both Valleys

  • Roc 2 chairlift upgraded for better access, when returning to the Meribel valley from Les Menuires, with a capacity of 2800 persons/per hour

  • Brand-new Face Nord Gondola, with 10 person cabins

  • Cime Caron Cable Car reopens, offering breathtaking views of 1,000+ Alpine peaks from one of the most iconic summits in the region, Cime de Caron rises to an altitude of 3,193 m. The Panoramic footbridge opened in 2022 which is a  suspended circular walkway with a transparent central section so you can look straight down into the void below- if you don’t suffer from vertigo!! The Engraved mountain names on the glass panels to help identify surrounding peaks and Orientation tables for viewing the surrounding massifs. 

 

Throughout the Trois Valles, resort facilities continue to improve, in Meribel the relaxation lounge at the base of the Saulire cable car has had a spruce up, the addition of more seating and facilities to warm up food and drinks if you are inclined to take a picnic lunch and the weather conditions are not ideal for outdoor eating!

The free bus service in Meribel is proud to announce that their vehicles now run on Bio Fuel, doing their bit to keep Les Trois Vallees as green as possible!
