Skiing in Les 3 Vallées
Méribel sits at the centre of Les 3 Vallées, the world’s largest linked ski area and along with it's partners in surrounding resorts it continues to improve facilities year on year. Here are a few of the exciting changes for next season!
Cote Brune will now be a 10 seater gondola, replacing the previous chair lift, carrying 2600 people per hour this will mean even quicker access to Val Thorens & the Belleville valley.
Rhodos Telecabine, a major upgrade, combing comfort, performance and sustainability, now will be 8 seater cabins, perfect for beginners and families to access the Altiport and Rond Point beginners area.
Chenus Gondola, in Courchevel, after 55 years of service this is being renewed for the season ahead, with 10 seater cabins, doubling the previous capacity, with a with picnic area and public restrooms at the top.
Les Menuires and Val Thorens valleys also have various new additions to enhance links, with The Roc 2 chairlift upgrade, New Face Nord Gondola and the reopening of the Cime Caron Cable Car- at the summit take in the incredible views across more than 1,000 Alpine peaks!
Getting around and insider tips
The resort’s central lift station at La Chaudanne and the great location of Ski Cuisine's chalets make it easy to reach the pistes and lifts from your chalet. Meribel centre is a lovely place to spend some time browsing the shops and stop for a well earned hot chocolate or your favourite tipple! For non skiers or those that want to explore the valley there is a free bus service that enables you to reach all areas on the resort. In our chalets you will find piste maps, bus timetables, walking maps or just ask our friendly team for top tips and suggestions.
