When staying with Ski Cuisine you will need to make your own travel arrangements. We can however recommend various airlines, train services & airport transfer companies. Once you have paid your final balance you will be sent a pre- arrival pack with directions to the chalet & general information.
Your chalet will be ready to welcome you from 4pm on your arrival date. If you are arriving earlier we can store your luggage until you check into your chalet, please ensure that let us know in advance. You will need to vacate the chalet by 10am on your departure day. We request that the chalet is vacant between 10am-4pm so that the chalet staff can prepare for the new guests. It is possible that incoming and outgoing guests may overlap for part of the day, in order for us to offer the most flexible service to our guests.
Ski Cuisine is very happy to work with Meribel Nanny Services who employ experienced nannies. They are professional and creative and your children can look forward to activities indoors and out, such as snowman building, sledging, arts & crafts and storytelling.
This will be served at 6pm, leaving you to enjoy your dinner later in the evening.
If you require your children to have an earlier meal (before 6pm) please speak to the chef and they can arrange for a meal to be left for you to heat up for the children. Please note that the chalet staff do not start work until 5.30pm due to their designated break time so they are unable to serve earlier than 6pm
Delicious meals are prepared daily by our experienced chefs and served to you with complementary wines. View our daily service and sample menu. Beer, sparkling wine, selected wines and soft drinks are available in unlimited supply.
We can cater for special dietary requirements, just let us know in advance of your arrival.
Please note that whilst our chefs will be able to be flexible to meet most dietary requirements they are unable to provide multiple choices of dishes for one group.
Your chalet staff will provide a housekeeping and hosting service every day, except for on their one full day off on a Wednesday. On Wednesday they will leave a continental breakfast for you to help yourselves to and afternoon tea will be left for you on your return from the slopes. No dinner is served in Ski Cuisine chalets on a Wednesday and Meribel has a wide selection of restaurants which our chalet staff will be happy to recommend and book on your behalf for that evening. If you prefer to stay in your chalet on the staff night off we can recommend a pizza delivery service. We request that you do not use the kitchen to cook for yourselves. Neither are the chalet staff obliged to shop or prepare any food for your dinner on the staff night off.
Our staff can recommend qualified local therapists who will visit your chalet if you would prefer to be pampered in the comfort of your own room. A lovely range of bath & shower gel, soap, shampoo and body lotion is supplied and all bedrooms have hair dryers. Bath robes & slippers are supplied.
If you have found a chalet that suits you then contact us and we will be happy to provide you with more information. Alternatively you are able to book directly through the web site if the chalet is showing as available.
Tips/ Gratuities are often given to show your appreciation of the work your chalet team has done, for example delivering an exceptional holiday experience which we hope exceeds your expectations. However, it is entirely at your own discretion if you decide to leave a tip or not. If you would like any guidance on appropriate tipping amounts, please speak with the Resort Manager or email our office. All tips given to the chalet staff are gratefully received, we also encourage that tips are shared with the support staff who enable our chalet staff to deliver a seamless service.
